My testimony for Christ our Lord
I was born on Nov. 10, 1944 in Crowder, MS the son of a share-cropper. I was born with a defective aortic heart valve and should not have survived but apparently Christ has a purpose for keeping me alive and part of that purpose is to spread the GOOD NEWS of SALVATION to others. Christ found me in 1967 before I had my first heart surgery and I have subsequently had 3 additional heart surgeries and have an artificial valve, artificial aorta, and osteoarthritis along with numerous ailments. I have no fear of dying for I know where I am bound.
I walked away from God in 1968, but thanks to His grace and mercy He did not walk away from me. Now I am back in His arms and there I intend to stay all the days of my life. If you have any questions about Christ feel free to call me anytime and if I can’t answer them I will find someone who can.
Today is April 18, 2006, I can now add that in December of 2005, God quit smoking, and by this I mean I had no desire to quit, but He insisted and did all the quitting for me. I did not even suffer any withdrawal symptoms.
So far, this year 2006, God has healed or lessened my osteoarthritis, so I am no longer in pain from that disease. He has also removed a growth from my neck that might or might not have been malignant (personally I don’t believe in malignant growths). He has improved my heart to the point that I can mow my yard in one trip without my heart speeding up like a trip-hammer and me coughing and struggling for air. PRAISE GOD!!!!
Always remember that even if you haven’t met Christ yet you are still a child of God and He loves you, but if you do not meet Christ and accept the sacrifice He made for you, you are lost and bound for eternal damnation.
